Three Wise Men
It’s the point of no return mates.
Michael: That’s it. That even was recorded.
Steve: My name is Steve.
Pete: Pete.
Shane: Shane.
Michael: OK. So we’ve got three lovely young men from Mount Gambier. What are you doing here? Why did you sign on to start with?
Pete: So basically it really started with the Freedom Movement at the beginning when all this stuff happened in 2020. Τhe main reason for it was basically just the like-minded people, but truth. You know seeking truth, and I knew that truth was not…..there were lies from the start and there were, you know, a lot of things that were missing in their narrative, so I thought “This is bullshit. We’re fighting for what is true. We’re fighting for what is right, and we don’t want to lose what we’ve got here, you know. So that’s why I’m here and I’m still here now because I believe in this freedom movement, and I really believe that we are the light, we are the truth. We are truth bearers and the fight ain’t over yet. It’s just effing begun.
Michael: Oh man. He’s set the bar buddies. You guys are stuffed. How about you? Why are you….?L
Steve: Αh. Oh my goodness. Look sir, with me personally, it all started when I was working at a local primary school and I was informed that in order to get my job I had to…
Michael: Are you a teacher?
Steve: SSO. (Single-Sign-On). But I am studying to become a teacher, so just recently I was told that I couldn’t do my placement at a school because I am an undesirable. And I was quite upset about that because that really set me back. But I’ve been here since the beginning and I was very lucky that I had met Shane, who introduced me to everybody and – like-minded people – and ever since we’ve been sticking together and supporting each other for this whole process. I am a freedom fighter too because I believe that freedom, liberty, is fundamental, to our society, in a Western country, and I think it’s just – it’s almost surreal for me that I was told if I don’t comply with this whole process that I was going to be ostracized from society, and I still sometimes think I’m in a bit of a Twilight Zone episode. You know, as far as I am concerned, we have to keep on fighting to hold on to the country that we all know and love.
Michael: (to Shane) And yourself? Thanks for the shower, by the way.
Shane: The least we can do, for coming down. And like these boys, early 2020, alarm bells started ringing for me. Like everyone, I got caught up in the fear initially but I could tell pretty early on that I was being bullshitted to some extent and the more that I look the more I realized that things just weren’t right. Then the lockdowns happened. You couldn’t go anywhere. A lot of people…..just…..a lot of the authoritarian way they were going about things. I was pushed around a lot as a kid. I know what bullies look like. And it just looked like bullies to me. And then they lost my trust early on. And then so I went looking for answers and some legitimate serious people that needed to be heard were being silenced. There was a lot of slander and propaganda getting around and I was shocked at how quickly this country slid down the path that it went and I was shocked for a long time. It really scared the bejesus out of me. Initially I thought I was alone and that was a bad place. You know you thought you were the only one in the world that could see this happening but fortunately people like yourself (speaking to Michael) spread the word.
Pete: That feeling then. Yes, I’ll never forget that.
Michael: Because you really felt alone. Well how did you survive?
Shane: I just started wrestling with Steve. And we were on the mat. Trust me, he wins every time. But we were just on the mats talking and we were like-minded. We had a similar political outlook.
Michael: He was talking. You were gasping for breath.
Shane: Exactly. I mean I initially got Peter Harris down here. He came down and visited and I tried to get people to go and talk with him. And I could only get about five people and three of them were my family, and Pete and his father – Steve – sorry – and it was just one or two or three people. My beautiful wife. She supported me. And my kids. I mean, even when you are alone and you’re in the dark if you’ve got small children you’ve just got to keep pushing forward. But then Peter actually introduced us to the Stand in the Park movement. And then it just exploded from there. Once we knew there were other people…..I remember turning up to the first Stand in the Park and I was just blown away, like. People coming up to me: “Oh, we’ll do flyers, we’ll do this. Are you going to join? Are you going to be our leader?” Ι’m like: “Well, I don’t think so” but “Thanks you know, “I’m glad you’re here.”\
Michael: The first one is the best. My first one is the best. Have you ever had to be a protester before?
Pete: Pardon me?
Michael: Have you been a protester in any other thing before? Is this…
Pete: The only time I protested before that was…...they wanted to build like a dump for all the radioactive waste in South Australia. That was the only protest I’ve ever done. That only was for one day. But I felt that there was nothing that was really worth…....that was important to me to protest about. But when this came along it was the spirit inside that said: ‘You’ve got to do this. You’ve got no choice. You know?”
Michael: That feeling you’re talking about inside. It’s almost like a spiritual feeling Are you feeling….?”
Steve: Absolutely. Look, I’ve never protested for anything before this. And when everything started occurring I remember thinking to myself: ‘It’s funny that after all these years in this country we’ve spoken about being inclusive. We’ve spoken about, you know, not pushing people out. You know, let’s bring everybody in. And at the drop of a hat people were ready to go: “You’re on the outside. You are not included with us any more.” And much like Shane, I’ve turned a little bit more to faith. Although some of the institutions around religion I’m a little bit more skeptical of in recent times, unfortunately, which means you feel more spiritual instead. But it certainly seems like, I’d say it’s a spiritual war….. Well look, I think for each and every one of us freedom is fundamental to our existence. And trying to stamp out freedom is like trying to take out the light from inside each of us. And I think that this is what it’s coming down to: it’s that light in us that we are trying to hold onto, which is spiritual, I believe. So I think it really is a spiritual war. 100%.
Pete: I agree.
Michael: Something to do with that. I won’t get into it but when I was in Melbourne so many women were coming up to me and saying “Dan’s an abuser”. They’ve been in those relationships. They’ve seen that. And yet they voted for him again. Why do women stay in abusive relationships, which might make us understand why they voted.
Pete: It could be that maybe that stability of…. well the unknown stability of…..”Well, if that’s what I know: I’m scared of the unknown, and what I don’t know.” But I actually believe that it’s just corrupt and he did not win legitimately. Right? I don’t believe in the voting process. I believe in the process itself, but they way it’s taken out and carried out these days, I have no trust in it. And I believe this is something we should talk about: people have lost trust in their government. Right? And the medical. And even the medicals, you can see h”ow much indoctrination is out there. I’ll just share a short story with you. I got sick earlier on in the year. I got Guillian-Barre syndrome, which is a nerve syndrome so it really took me right out. I couldn’t walk.
Michael: It’s really bad.
Pete: And when I went into the hospital they actually found it quite strange because they were all asking me “Have you been vaccinated?” And I said “No.” Now not one doctor said: “Why haven’t you been vaccinated?” All specialists. And not one of them said: “Why haven’t you been vaccinated?” None of them! Now if it was that important to me….none of them mentioned I should go get it or why didn’t you get it. But what I found was a lot of them were mentioning that this kind of syndrome that I had is what they’ve seen in the hospital is a side-effect, or adverse reaction, of the vaccines. And I even had one specialist give me an example of that. But when I went to bring something like that up to the professor in urology he just said: “Look, it’s controversial.” And that’s all he could say: “Look, it’s controversial.” And that’s sort of what you’re getting in the medical field but I’m thinking in the medical field they’re really over it. They’re overtired. They’re run down. And I think they’re going to be in a great need from all of us truth-seekers.
Michael: They’re seeing a lot of carnage turn up. People are dying. I’ll ask one question. I’ll start this way and work this way but anyone can answer it. Do you think we already have global governance and they haven’t informed us? So that we’re not actually Australia any more. They’re actually being governed from overseas.
Shane: 100%.
Pete: Yes definitely,
Steve: There is enough, I guess, in place to suggest that yes we are – if not officially at least unofficially - being controlled. I think the Australian Government is more now – the national government – is more an administration government that has this goal to implement the laws passed by the United Nations and these kinds of institutions. I don’t think we really have the full control of our country any more. There was something recently – Shane you might be able to help me with this – there was something about they wanted to surrender the medical liberty of the country – we all had to – do you remember that thing? I’ve forgotten. My memory’s a big cloudy….
Shane: Was that at the meeting in Indonesia? The government signed the WHO Treaty? Yes, so we’ve signed a lot of international agreements that have really handed over our sovereignty. I mean you’ve only got to……nobody wants….. a lot of the general public….they don’t want to go on and read legislation, proposed legislation. It’s generally boring but you get some truth seekers like Alex Antic, Gerard Rennick or whoever, that highlight this stuff and you go and have a read and you go “What are you guys doing?” Like, even if you trust the World Health Organization or the United Nations, surely we can make these decisions in consultation with them. We shouldn’t be signing iron-clad agreements that enables them to come in and do basically what they like under their definition of an emergency. You know, I mean, why aren’t our politicians capable of declaring their own emergency? Why does it need to be farmed out to these shady world organizations? You know, if these treaties were signed and we had truly independent politicians we might be able to wiggle our way out. But when they’re in with it as well it IS a global governance. They say “jump”, we say “how high?” and it’s really only the little guys that say “wait on”. And as we’ve seen, we get whacked on the head pretty quick. So…
Michael: Well that’s what we’re facing now. The other thing too is that, like, I’ve been across the country now and I’m seeing the Freedom Movement disillusioned. We lost the federal election. They didn’t listen to us in Canberra. We’ve lost the state election to Dan Andrews, where there was….. xxxx (12.53) I Here they had a strange election I remember I was in South Australia. It was like they knew already. And so what are the problems you’re seeing facing …..of why the Freedom Movement is struggling.
Steve: I think at the moment, firstly the mandates have been reversed, some of them. That’s one step. Some people become comfortable and relaxed. The other thing to is there is a lot of – I guess – we need more unity. I think we need to come together to understand that we somehow think that our differences of opinion somehow means that we can’t – we’re not the same people any more or we’re too different to get along, when in actual fact our differences should help us to strengthen our opinions and understanding of things. And I also think that we need to remember our common goal. I think we need to – as you said probably before – we need to identify what freedom means. What it means to us. And more importantly we need to try and keep on track. We need to start working towards that goal. At the moment I don’t think we are. Ι think, you know, we came together because we were all looking for unity with other people and we had that, and now they’ve turned things down a little bit and look I mean you can already see it now: they are talking about COVID again in the newspapers and some people are wearing masks again and I am just thinking: why? When most people will tell you, just everyday regular people whether you’re in or out of this, they’ll tell you that COVID is just another flu now or a cold.
Pete: Let’s just get on with it.
Steve: Let’s just get on with it. I mean that’s the approach even in government. So why are we harping on about it still? So, this is going down the rabbit hole, but ultimately I think we just, like I said, we just need to come back together and understand we have a common goal and we need to work towards it because this is not going to end with COVID. We can see this now with digital IDs and cashless society. This is where this is all heading down. OK, and they’ve even said this. It was in the World Economic Forum that COVID was a precursor, was a test run. I can’t plan my paraphrasing but well it’s along those lines and they’re talking about climate lockdowns in Oxfordshire in England. Are you kidding me?
Michael: I wear a jacket today.
Steve: Yes, you know, so this is not the end. I think we have won a little bit in the COVID realm. I think we have forced, I mean despite our losses we’ve won in the sense that they have to push back. Right, I think this is something we should be proud of. We have fought them hard enough. We’ve given them maybe a little bit of a scare, maybe concern might be a better word. We’ve gone to push back. But now they’ll come back again with something else. And we need to be ready for that, and united. Sorry.
Pete: Well said. Yes, I’d like to sort of….I think this disillusionment, how we’ve become disillusioned to some extent, but also this separation that’s happening with different groups around the state, I really want to send a message out to everyone that I think maybe the reason why this is happening – it could be many reasons – whether it’s what Steve said of the mandates being relaxed and now we don’t really have a lot more to fight for. But guys more than ever now we need to fight. We need to stay together. These little differences that we have with one another. We’ve got to put them behind us. Please. We’ve got to agree to disagree and we’ve got to look at that goal. And that goal is freedom. The goal is truth and our children to live in freedom. Not to live in a life like this, and you know what? Let’s give it our best shot. You know?
Steve: Can I just add as well: the people, I guess, most of the people that bring the world together, let’s say, let’s use that term. Most of these people don’t get along. They don’t get along. They probably can’t stand each other for all I know. But I can tell you, they definitely don’t get along. And yet they can still come together with a common goal. And we need to be the same.
Pete: Like we’re in war. It’s almost like we’re in a battle, so: let’s go shoulder to shoulder, not back to back, shoulder to shoulder and stand in a line together. You know, you’re not always going to get along with your neighbour or, you know, mate, but that’s OK.
Steve: They don’t get along.
Pete: But we’re fighting for something much larger here.
Michael: I do feel that Klaus and all that mob have a distinct vision. We’re not in it.
Pete, Steve: Yes.
Shane: A clear vision. They put it in paper and it’s one their website. They’ve told us what their vision is. Like you said, we’re not in their club.
Michael: What would your vision be for an Australia if you were part of saying to people: “This is the Australia I think……”
Shane: The vision is different for everyone. But that IS our vision: that we get to choose our own vision. Without government interference. I mean you’ve just got to look at how over-legislated we are. Down to your local playground. They took down my daughter’s favourite swing because some law had come in that it was too close to the fence. And I can’t…….with all the emergencies: the climate emergency, the war on terror, COVID, these laws coming in all the time to tell us what to do, when to do it, how to do it, what to think. And once digital ID and digital money comes in you’ll be: Where do you spend your money? How do you spend it? How soon do you spend it? Who do you talk with? All that is going to be controlled. So, what freedom looks like is the choice of each individual to choose their own path. And even if it is the wrong path, even if it’s a path…..the freedom to make a wrong choice, even. I mean you might go: “Look at that idiot. What’s he doing?” Well that’s fine. You know, as long as you’re not hurting anyone, calling for overt violence, even if you’re a little bit offensive. Tough skin in Australia. It’s OK.You don’t have to react to your feelings. You know, this time is really to help me try and detach from my anxiety because of what’s happening around me. I’m really not trying to get caught up in what’s going internally because there is a lot happening that I am not happy with but I’m trying to rise above it and move forward anyway and if someone out there is upsetting you, it’s OK. You can speak your mind. You can say that they’re wrong. But that’s freedom. And if we agree that that is important, that is what freedom is, then we should be shooting for that. And the people that are taking it away from us, let's sort them out first before we get caught up in our own little arguments. And if you're from Mount Gambier and watching there, think about who your greater enemy is. Is it the guy across town that you had a disagreement with because they upset you? They said something mean, or you've got a different idea, a different approach. I mean, I've been guilty of it. I've been critical of people in this town or in the freedom movement because they're associated with certain politicians that I didn't like. But I went home and I had a good look in the mirror and I meditated on it and I thought "Well, I was wrong." I don't agree that they did that but we're on the same side here so let's ..... on the head.
Yes, but anyway I just think we need to keep our eye on the goal and turn the other cheek a bit more with each other and accept that "Look, we're not all going to get along. We're not all going to like each other." But I'd rather be here in the trenches fighting with someone I don't like, for freedom, than fighting them while Klaus Schwab comes over the hill and gets me in the back, you know. You know what I mean. We really need to.......
Michael: That's great mate. What do you think are the challenges in the new year that we are facing. And were facing.
Pete: I think the challenges we're going to face are pretty unknown for now, but if we can go by any example of what we faced this year, or next year, it might be the fact that they got more legislation in place for extra mandates. They might use the climate wars. It could go either way. It's hard to sort of tell at the moment.
Michael: Are you frightened that they might come for us? I mean, they have built all those camps. The language at the moment is basically that...
Pete: I'll share something with everyone. I'm a believer in faith. I'm a Christian, so I believe in a higher power and a creator God, that everything is in control with God, so at the end of the day I have that faith that we're not going to be left alone if we follow the truth and we are steadfast. We're going to be OK. And we've got each other. You know, we're the light of the world. And we've got to let ourselves shine.
Michael: I do think the great gift from God is each other and the ability to love. I do think God gave us each other.
Pete: And I think he created us in his image, so we can project this godliness, which is what we've seen. You know, when we all felt so alone and we came together and thought "You know what? We're not alone mate." We're not alone, and that is such a strong - not just a feeling. This is something real. This is alive you know.
Michael: I've been meeting these people, just ordinary people. I believe I chose to be here, like, for the fight. The hope. People wonder where you get the courage from. I get the courage because I'm affected by everyone else's courage. (to Steve) What do you think, though, coming for. Do you think that this might be the year when they try to shut down the internet or decide to round us up?
Steve: Oh look, Michael, I guess at this point in time....
Michael: I mean it's more like a strategic thing, trying to figure out....
Steve: The thing is that I guess prior to this whole ordeal I never would have thought I would experience anything like this in my lifetime. I never would have thought I would experience anything like this at all, what we've been through in the last couple of years, so in terms of strategy next year it's hard to determine because at this point for me the gloves are off. Anything goes at this point. I wouldn't be surprised what will happen.... It could be...look for example - this is a bit out of context but they're talking about how in America and Europe you had to buy electric vehicles but you can't drive them.
Pete: You can't drive in winter, I think.
Steve: So, like, this sounds crazy to me - you have to buy an electric vehicle and then you can't drive it. Why? Soon it will be you can't use your internet - I don't know when or how but you won't be able to use your internet because of climate change. They are talking about the fifteen-, or in Australian terminology the twenty-minute cities where you won't be able to leave, you won't have permission to leave, your neighbourhood.
Michael: It's called geo..........not geoengineering.
Shane: Geofencing or something.
Michael: Yes.
Steve: And I think this is all meant to be in place by, I think, 2030, is their plan. So this is going to have increments. And obviously when they meet a bit or resistance they're going to push back. But when things calm down or they distract us, they'll try again. So when it's going to happen I don't know. I can't give you an answer. I don't think anyone does. But what I can tell you....it's not a case of it; it's a case of, you know, when.
Michael: Steve, we're on the same page because around Australia people are having the same.....
Steve: Absolutely.
Michael: COVID19 was like a Pearl Harbour. No-one saw it coming. Somebody got a virus. What's coming? But monkey pox we killed with memes. We were ready.
Steve: Yes.
Michael: And humour is a great weapon.
Shane: Yes. Did you notice how in some respects the war with.... I'm not trying to start anything but the war with Ukraine - that sort of killed COVID a fair bit, you know. It was out of the media pretty quick. Funny that. So.
Michael: I think there's a gulag somewhere and someone goes "What are you in for?" "Oh, I came up with monkey . pox."
Shane: I think the digital thing is what's going to get us. They won't need to round us up. They'll just lock us out. I mean if I can't register my car, I can't have a bank account, I can't keep my house. I can't do anything, like. They can lock us out digitally. And now they've got the legislation. Even if we decide to make a commune together and go off grid they've got legislation now to just come in and break them up. You know. There's the Biosecurity Act. There's all sorts of things, you know. There's a lot of rhetoric now about the dangerous conspiracy theorists. You know, they'll find a way to break up the small few people that manage to stay outside that system. But most of us are normal people. We like living in Australia but we don't want to be digitally controlled. We like our privacy. Anybody who says: "I've got nothing to hide." Give me your bank account password or give me your e-mail password. You know. Privacy is a fundamental freedom.
Michael: Your pincode.
Shane: Yes, it's crazy. I think once they instil the digital ID and the digital money they've basically got us. Really. And then it's just a matter of attrition. They'll just wait and we'll slowly either submit or - there might be a few that are able to get out there but that'll be the big thing and we've already seen Australians, you know, are very compliant people.
Michael: Compliance has got us wealthy though, to be honest. The last few decades we've got fat and wealthy through being compliant.
Shane: I think that's why we are the way we are.
Michael: I'm going to start with you then and this is to end up with my third act of hope. What are the things we have to do? We need our brothers and sisters to join us. What do we have to do? I know you're a pessimist, which is not a bad way to be. But what can we do?
Shane: We need to speak out and we need to stand up and we need to exercise our freedoms. Yes, I mean I'm trying to do the best I can. That's why I'm here today. I'm doing other things behind the scenes. That's why we meet up regularly with these boys and I think you just need to exercise your freedoms. So - I recently had the opportunity to set up a self-managed super-fund. A corporate trust was recommended. I want to do a corporate trust but I have got get a digital ID. I chose not to. I said "No". I said to the accountant: "Well, I've got a choice. I'm going to exercise my freedom and I'm not choosing that. And until they can force me, I'm choosing the other thing. And I think that's what we need to do: talk and exercise our freedoms. Otherwise we're going to lose them.
Pete: Yes, I definitely think we have to unite again. Have more sense of humour. Unite again. Agree to disagree. Because we're going to have harder times ahead. No doubt. I mean, you know, I'm an optimist but the writing is....
Michael: Yin and yang.
Pete: The writing is on the wall, right? So let's put our differences aside. We have to start to unite again. Build that spirit that we had at the beginning, and then you'll see that things will flow. You know? And we'll be able to fight and resists.
Steve: Look, I think..... I was told.....I'll give you an example. I recently had an encounter where, you see, I've got a little unit that I own and I was sent my corporate fees and I went to the post office and I was told "Look, you can't pay with cash." I had taken out money accordingly and I went to pay my fees at the post office and they said to me: "You can't pay with cash any more." I thought: "What?" The post office said to me: "I'm sorry, we're not taking cash any more." So I rang up the company and they said to me it was the post office. But I'd paid my council rates at the post office, so it wasn't the post office. After a bit of back and forth with the company they said to me: "So you can pay.....for your convenience we've made it so you can pay digitally, with your card or whatever else. So I said: "I've got cash." I'm not going to be back and forth. I know what's going on. So they said to me: "Look, that's the only way you can pay." So I said: "What methods of payment do I have as an option to me and they said: "Card, cheque" and whatever it was I can't remember now.
Michael: Bank transfer or something.
Steve: That's the one. Yes. Sorry. So, I said "OK. Right, well in that case I'll pay you by cheque but I'll deduct the cost of the postage and the cheque-making from your fees since you're not allowing me to pay with legal tender and I said "I'll pay you that way." They gave me a call and said: "Oh, you can pay directly into our bank account, with cash." And that's what we need to do. We need to not be compliant.
Michael: Not comply.
Steve: Non-compliant. We need to stop going: "Oh, OK. You're not taking cash. I'm leaving the business." No. Argue the point. Make it hard for them. They're making our life hard. We need to make their lives hard as well. We've got to show them we're not going to take this lying down. And that's what we need to do. Fight back.
Pete: Amen.
Michael: Amen. That's great. Stay there guys. Stay there for a sec.
Freedom is my soul's wings.
Australians were born to fly.
