The internal grievances against the United States' political system have elements in common with Eurosceptic positions. Vermont secessionists tried to form a coalition with Southern secessionists but it was unsuccessful finally because the Vermont secessionists are liberal and the Southern secessionists far right. The same political problem exists in Europe. It is not clear whether we will hang together or hang separately. Is there a "we" for whom this is perceived as a problem?
