BRIEF Report on the TAA Road Trip

Important Conclusions First:

* This was a very worthwhile experience for those who got to talk with others about chemtrails. Our sense is that there are, in fact, people throughout Ontario who are aware of the strange trails in the sky. It was always gratifying, for both sides of the conversation, to be having the conversation in person.

* There may be more noticeable trail activity near Air Force bases.

* We did not have enough time to visit even one third of our list.

* The ACTIVITY around this issue,… whether that be in-person networking/organising, documentary producing, letter-writing, web-site working and networking, or expression in the creative arts,… is dominated by older people. There appears to be a direct correlation, on average, between age and confidence in the certainty that these trails are new, unusual, affecting atmosphere and weather.

* There seems to be greater variation in the spraying styles over Toronto than over other parts of central Ontario.

*More face-to-face, in person, human contact will hurry us toward our objectives.

What Else May Come of This Trip:

* Dan King promised to have the Ontario Green Party sponsor a public night of show and tell, perhaps presenting Savoy Howe’s LOOK UP with a short video-collage of clips of the two documentaries that exist (one U.S., one Canadian) and clips from our Road Trip, and, of course, our Photogallery….plus q&a and discussion.

* We’re developing plans to present a real novelty: REALITY THEATRE !! We send out five teams of three, for example, with a videocamera, sextant, compass and altitude calculating formula, (and perhaps also cellphone?) (laptop?) to gather “PROOFS that USAF Refuelling Tankers are spraying chemicals over YOU!!!!!!!!” Come see for yourself as they present their best 10 minutes of video for each team live on stage at the {well-known, well-liked venue} and [celebrity or two] will teach you the science needed to assess the proofs. REALITY THEATRE!! The audience decides what Toronto’s Air Apparent does NEXT with their evidence!! Be there and alter everyone’s future !!

* We wish to solicit ideas about how to best make use of an Ontario NETWORK or chemtrail spotters, and how best to develop and sustain that network.

2006 Chemtrail Campaign Plan – ends JULY 2006

Please draw yourself a workable schematic diagram to illustrate this plan, and post it visibly. Feel free to improve upon or contribute to etc etc all ideas contained herein.

Our time line is from now until the last event in the sequence. The last event in the sequence will be our celebration of the previous events.

The second last event will be the Smog Summit on June 21 2006, location TBA.
{more on this later}
The order of the third and fourth last is undetermined.
One of those events is the Chemtrail Cabaret at the Bloor Cinema.

The other of those events is a media action, such as chaining ourselves to the front doors of Dept of Defence or Environment Canada or…
{more on this later}

The entire period leading up to these major events will consist of a campaign to do two types of outreach to specific targets, deliberately chosen. Paper outreach may take many forms, business cards, full page posters or handouts, ‘marslanders’, threepage folded, twopage folded, letters, fridge magnets, election stickers being examples. Cabaret Units Outreach means anything from the list of cabaret units we have created (and will keep developing).

Many of the Cabaret Outreach Units still require some or much development. The four or five of us at the helm share weakness in the area of techno-media.

ABOUT THE EVENTS:

The Smog Summit 2006 will be the 6th. It brings together all the mayors of the region, among others, and the public, to try dealing with smog on the city level.
Different formats have been tried over the years and the integration of public input has not been very well handled, in our eyes.
We intend to register as many people as possible, and really using the Bloor Cinema Chemtrail Café to stir up excitement about this, and then pull off some exciting stunt once we are all in the council chambers (often held there} and the media is poised to catch clips of the Mayor or the Premier speaking. The stunt should be very ‘visual’, like unfurling a long banner and/or holding up giant photos etc. Thirty people would be an impressive number for this event. We should also have two folks in as photographers and afterwards be prepared to send off photos to numerous media, magazines especially.

The Chemtrail Cabaret – Bloor Cinema will be advertised in all the lead-up Paper Outreach and CC Unit Outreach, highlighting the complete novelty of the event. The Bloor Cinema is a 700 seat movie theatre with balcony and stage, absolutely centrally located and extremely well known. We will serve food and present, in novel fashion, the entire array of Cabaret Units, adding some ‘registration lounges’ where participants can use a laptop to register for the Smog Summit (or see the site and register later) and join a discussion about pulling off the planned stunt.

This cabaret will be used to shed light on the issue, explain Toronto’s Air Apparent’s approach, with a promise to pull off these events and a celebration, but no particular promise beyond that – except perhaps to say that at the celebration we will discuss the future somewhat. This large cabaret event should feed the Smog Summit action.

The Media Action – Chained Protest we think should precede the Bloor Cinema, feeding it. The objective is to get the event in the news and to reveal the agencies that are lying to the public: DND, Env Can, and The Weather Network. It’s a quirky enough trio! Again, it will be important to have our own photographers and videographers on hand. Suggestions above and beyond the chaining of our selves to the doors of their offices are welcome.

Going with the McLuhan message that the medium is the message, we can hope that this approach will broadcast the positive outlook expressed in seeing the tragedy of chemtrail spraying as a positive opportunity to create stronger community around us with good food, good fun, and exciting challenges.
