On the subject of "conspiracy theory", here is an article that is written from within the conspiracy theory mentality, with all the elements of philosophical backwardness, but which nevertheless contains information that should be familiar to everyone. It is relevant to present-day geopolitics because it apparently informs present-day Russian strategy of the turn to Central Asia, the alliance with Kazakhstan, the elevation of the city of Astana to a world-central role: www.veteranstoday.com/2017/09/05/khazarians-then-khazarians-now/

For a start there could be discussion of whether it is advisable to use the terminology of a cynical enemy, placing one continually on the defensive. Nikos was expelled from Varoufakis' DiEM25 movement on charges of sacrilegious likening of treatment of alleged present-day "anti-vaxxers" to the treatment of Jews by Nazis. Would it be better to describe what happened to Jews under Nazi Germany as a pogrom or series of pogroms analogous to Jewish experience under the Czars of Russia? There are key people in WFA who do not respond to mainstream anti-Holocaust discourse and take refuge in silence or evasion. That is a stance which also strengthens the opponent. The most single-minded genuinely anti-Jewish activists often have strong ideas (sometimes an obsession) with Khazarian Zionists. When I raised the issue of Khazaria some time ago it became obvious that it was a subject that many were not familiar with. But is it possible to understand what is happening in Ukraine without knowing something about the thousand-year grudge (to put it mildly) with Russia that motivates Khazarian Zionists? Arthur Koestler explored the subject shortly before his suicide. It seems to me the dreams of Khazarian Zionists are no more sinister in themselves than the dreams of Greeks who want to "retake" Constantinople (not a small minority). There seems to be a vast criminality surrounding these Khazarian dreams but it also seems to me that the Russian response to this is for the most part rational and realistic. Let there be some discussion of this subject. It could help dispel a lot of useless emotionalism and benefit all parties.

The urge to deceive appears to be almost reflexive amongst the majority of journalists. Even when the overall political intention may seem to be more or less benign, the concessions to conventional misrepresentation turn articles into gobbledygook.

The above accounts are pretty low-level particularly the Veterans Today one.
