The countdown towards climate catastrophe may just have sped up.
New research shows that "it could happen far more rapidly, with the worst case being several feet of sea-level rise over the next 50 years, followed by increases so precipitous that they would force humanity to beat a hasty retreat from the coasts."

Comment from Albert A. Soren
Europe, the continents, the world -
We've got no time left for repression, mind disturbed neo-nationalism, neo-religious speculative economism and similar war machinery. Future demands both feet on the ground, transportation by train and ship, long time durable material goods and much more time "just" living - and everybody knows by heart and instinct, but keeps on listening to and speaking with split tongues - 'sorry, got no time'......because of what ?

Benny Profane: It’s already underway.
Wayne Hall: Climate manipulation of the type prevalent today has been in existence since Eisenhower's time. Years before the establishment of the IPCC and the launching of the climate change debate. The climate debate started up after the passage of the ENMOD legislation following the US defeat in Vietnam. That made climate manipulation for aggressive purposes illegal.
Albert A. Soren: As long as mainstream succeeds keeping people focused on their own little ‘chicken farms’ behind increasingly closing borderlines, U.N. will remain a charity org. for the rich and powerful with all kinds of scandals in its wake - and maybe there was more to it than just this, when forefathers in the aftermath of WW2 named this expanded initiative ‘United Nations’.... In that sense you’re right, Wayne Hall, there’s so much repressed under “more urgent” headlines and therefore not discussed, but that the IPCC scientists should be conspiring with environmental warfare ..... When the IAEA claimed (2003) that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, it didn’t matter to Bush and his collaborators in their “holy” and “democratic” quest for vengeance. They ridiculed back then the U.N. for years to come, and we’re witnessing the outcome these days.

Wayne Hall: The second video is worth looking at.
On the subject of the UN, Albert Soren, Mark Mazower's "No Enchanted Palace" is essential reading. It demonstrates very clearly the historical role that has been played by racism and white supremacist ideas.
Wayne Hall: Albert A. Soren, we don't need the climate change skeptics to condemn James Hansen for being "political". We will do it for them. We want scientists to be scientists. Let us be the politicians.
